How do I install it?
There are only 3 easy steps to turn your car to 11!
NOTE: it is recommend that installation is performed by a qualified professional.
Before starting
It is recommended to leave your car locked and completely off for 10+ minutes with your keys away before unplugging the connectors, to allow time for the car to completely shut off.
Step 1. Unplug Connector
Locate the exhaust valve motor and connector. You may be able to access them with the car on the ground, otherwise you may prefer to use ramps. Be sure to follow all safety precautions set by the equipment manufacturers.
With the car completely off, disconnect the factory connector.
Most connectors have a locking tab that has to be released first. Pressing /pinching the release mechanism on the connector will allow it to be pulled out and removed. Sometimes the locking tab can be a bit difficult to release, you may need to clean it of dirt and debris or use a small screwdriver to carefully assist in releasing the tab. Be sure to only pull on the connector housing, do not pull on the wires.

Step 2. Plug In Connector
Plug the factory connector into the Exhaust Controller and press in the connector locking tab if it has one.
Make sure that the connector is clean and dry including around the seal. Any trapped dirt or moisture can cause an improper seal and damage the controller.
You can should hear a click sound as it connects. If the locking tab isn't able to be pressed in, then the connector may not be connected properly. Also check if no dirt or debris is preventing it from connecting.

Step 3. Plug In Controller
Plug the Exhaust Controller into the exhaust valve motor, and press in the locking tab. You can should hear a click sound as it connects.
Take a moment to check that the controller, wiring and factory wiring is clear of anything hot, away from anything sharp or where it could rub.
The controller is designed to allow it to extended and mounted alternatively (how to video here). If there is not enough clearance around the controller, where it's too close to the exhaust or anything else hot or where the controller or wires can rub, you can extend the controller and mount it elsewhere where it is more safe.

Step 4. Send It
Repeat these installation steps for the other side if necessary. The Exhaust Controllers are interchangeable left and right can be used for either the left or right side valve.
Power on your car (just ignition or unlocked doors on some cars) and press the remote ON ( ∿ ) button to keep the valves open! Press the OFF ( – ) button to revert back to factory control.
Depending on the car, it is best to wait a few seconds before using the controller after turning on / powering on / unlocking your car.

Installation Warning
Avoid routing wires or components near hot surfaces, moving parts, or areas where abrasion can occur. Improper installation can cause damage and is not covered under warranty.
