Where are the exhaust valves located?
Exhaust valves are typically located towards the rear of the exhaust system near the exits of the mufflers and are usually visible by looking underneath your car. You can shine a torch into the tailpipes and you may be able to see the valve inside.
Example of a valve actuator:

The most common type of valve motors / actuators look like this:

Note: Exhaust Controllers can only be installed on valves that are specifically used for sound control as part of the muffler system. Please do not install an Exhaust Controller on the single valve located in the middle of the exhaust system. This is not for sound control and should not be interfered with.
If you do not have any exhaust valves, then you cannot install an exhaust controller. As mentioned on the product page: it is recommended that you confirm that you have a factory controlled valved exhaust before ordering.
