Note for certain Mercedes-Benz models
For certain Mercedes-Benz models *as noted on the product page*, the controllers works slightly differently:
- The controller takes 5 seconds for the valves to open after pressing the controller on button.
- The valves requires a new signal from the car to close after turning the controller off.
- Either from changing the drive modes or throttle input.
- If you blip the accelerator, the car will send a new signal to the actuators and the valves will close and return back to normal. But while driving the signals are sent so frequently that as soon as you press the off button, the car will regain control of the valves right away.
Here is a video showing how the valve works. Note the 5 second delay and the throttle input to close the valve.
